As I’m bored and as this is a blog, why not do some bored bloggage? Good idea.

This week I’ve got stuck into mainly playing 200nl. Some random thoughts and observations to clutter the interwebs forever:

* Firstly, I’d say it has started pretty well. Up a few buyins which is nice.

* There has been a noticeable drop in the number of fish – perhaps because I have been playing weekday evenings. I’ll only be playing Friday night this week so hopefully weekends are more drooler-ful.

* I’m not paying for datamined hands (I’d like to get my reads from actual hands played together, oh and I’m tight!) so I have been sitting with anybody and everybody. This has meant playing five regs a lot, but whatever. With a fresh clean image I’ve been able to pull a few moves here and there whilst I can. You know – the cold 4bet bluff over the two dick-waving regs to your right. Once they suss that I kack myself facing 5bet shoves then that source of profit is gone :D

* The very first June sesh was fun. Got on the waiting list for a few OK looking tables and ended up deciding to 6 table for a while (new monitor FTW). Man it was aggro. The 3betting/squeezing on one of the tables that I reviewed in full was 18%. Booked a nice quick win and quit when I started getting deep on a few tables.

* Must not think about the value of the chips on the table. I haven’t before, but its hard not to think to yourself “Oh look, I have one months wages sat on these 6 tables” or “Hey thanks man, you just paid for my new monitor”. I’m sure it’s a temporary thing.

Going to crush it tonight, so stay out my way!

Oh and further to my sign-off on my last entry, it looks like Mr Dawson is on his way to the World Cup after all. Looks like my prophecy came good after all.
