April Review

A quick April round up. Before rakeback, bonuses and appearance fees (ok I lie about the appearance fees) I made a whopping $532. Ship it. Before analysing where it went wrong I guessed my little foray into 200nl was the cause. It turns out it wasn’t the case – I lost just $90 at the level. Seeing that I made $1.4k at 100nl the culprit turned out to be the £50 & E50 tables. LOL as they say. During the month I was filling up dead time with the games whilst waiting on good 100 or 200 games. Needless to say a combination of being a bit laggier than optimal and a lot of sets+ getting busted resulted in dropping quite a few $. Only like 10bi down but converted to $ that made it look worse.

My May plan is to try and get in 18k-20k hands. This will allow me to maximise the dosh coming from my affiliate and force me to play more than the 15k I did this month. I’m also dropping £50nl from the rota, I’m insanely profitable at all 100nl games now so I will stick with that (over 16bb/100 for the database which started in January). Once I have crunched the numbers with this current deal to verify its better than my old one, I will empty the old account and have the roll again to play some 200nl. Whilst doing all the transfer stuff the other day I nabbed a grand for my wallet as I have an expensive birthday jaunt planned in London Town. I’m off to finish off the last hundred or so hands from April that still need notes doing for them and to watch a bit of snooker.
